REAL BRIDE
Molly.
“Not even sure where to begin with trying to put the way I feel about my Thread The Spool dress and experience into words so I looked back at the initial message I sent Charlotte and remembered the way I felt then. It was a dreary January evening when I came across TTS on a photographers blog. I remember feeling SO refreshed to see modern, beautiful designs that I could actually see myself wearing - a lightbulb moment where I was excited for the first time about my wedding dress. I had a clear vision of what I wanted, and from the minute we started talking I knew Charlotte was up for the challenge!
I travelled from London to visit Charlotte twice throughout the design process and each visit was so memorable. Being in the studio where my bespoke gown was created with the incredibly talented (and effortlessly cool) designer was really special. It was after the first visit where I'd seen a sequin gown in the studio that I had the idea for my outfit change. My idea had always been to wear an organza layer over a slip dress that I could whip off and put on a cool jacket for the evening. WOW did Charlotte make that come to life! After obsessing over the idea together, I gave Charlotte free reign to create the sequin vision of party girl dreams and she absolutely nailed the brief.
I want to tell the world about Thread The Spool as I genuinely didn't think that anyone could change my perception of Wedding dress shopping until we met. Charlotte worked with me to create this absolute dream come true and I wouldn't change a thing for the world.”

"This beauty has been a process. One amazing process with the very talented and gorgeous Charlotte from Thread the spool. Last year I had a dream about this dress, I woke up and drew it... and I knew straight away this was Charlotte all over. So I came to Charlotte with nothing but scribbles, and the rest is history.... she did it!!! This is Charlottes first ever bespoke wedding dress.... and bloody hell, did she deliver! I felt nothing but amazing! & knowing that nobody in the world has this, was very special. Charlotte also made our incredible flower girl dress's & bows to match... the girls looked beautiful!
Thank you endless amounts Charlotte, I know you've had a lot of sleepless nights over this.... you should be so proud! I know I am!”

Harriet.
Harriet knew exactly what she wanted - she’s already got multiple TTS ruffles so she wanted a bridal version! Floor sweeping with a big train, pockets and a BIG, sequin bow on the back. Harriet also had a ruffle veil to finish off her bridal look which was made by Charlotte.
“The first time I saw Charlotte/TTS made wedding gowns I knew instantly I wanted to get married in one! When the time came, Charlotte totally got my vision. From initial chat through to first fitting and try on, Charlotte gave me the flexibility to tweak and change any design features I wanted to make the dress of my dreams. The measurements were absolutely perfect, the process was seamless (despite me living the opposite end of the country) and the end result was a wedding dress that was totally ‘me’, comfortable and I will love forever and ever. Couldn’t recommend enough.”

"Working with Charlotte on my wedding dress was a fabulous experience from start to finish. I felt so safe in Charlotte’s hands as she walked me through the creative process and came up with a perfect design which was all I had hoped for and more. Because everything was entirely bespoke, we could work together on all the little details which made the finished dress even more special.
Charlotte also designed and custom made my two young daughter’s bridesmaids dresses. She suggested just the right style, which really complimented my dress and it all came together flawlessly. The girls adored wearing their dresses and looked absolutely gorgeous.
Charlotte provides such a unique and personal experience - she is not only a gifted and creative seamstress, but a gorgeous person who you can entirely trust and rely on. I’ll be forever grateful to her and will never stop smiling at our wedding photos and feeling the love for my beautiful dress."
